Borondonia–Curimae relations treaty



Treaty for the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Borondonia and the Kingdom of Curimae

Article 1. The Kingdom of Borondonia and the Kingdom of Curimae mutually recognize their existence as legal micronations with full sovereignty and independence.

Article 2. The signatory parties recognize and respect the symbols, legal system and territorial integrity of the counterparty.

Article 3. Both micronations agree by mutual agreement not to intervene in each other's internal affairs and to respect the decisions emanating from the institutions of the other signatory.

Article 4. Both parties agree to continue diplomatic contacts to advance relations of collaboration and friendship to strengthen the development of both Micronations.

Article 5. Although both parties may establish alliances or Treaties of Friendship with other micronations, they commit to the mutual defense of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity against aggression from another state.

Article 6. Both micronations will work together to promote peace, combat terrorism, extremism and international crime in any of its manifestations.

Article 7. The signatory parties will direct their efforts to resolve disputes and promote reconciliation through dialogue, and may request mediation by neutral third parties if the disputes are not resolved within a reasonable period of time.

Article 8. Both micronations mutually recognize the dual nationality of their citizens so that citizens of one can obtain the nationality of the other without representing a conflict of interest or having to renounce their nationality of origin.

Article 9. Both parties recognize the free movement of nationals of the other country within their territory.

Article 10. The signatory parties may sign Trade and Mutual Aid Agreements giving priority to the needs of the other party over unrecognized third parties.

Article 11. Both micronations agree that the demonstration of inactivity by the other party for more than one year is sufficient reason to annul this Treaty.

Article 12. Both parties undertake to make public on their respective official websites the signature of this Treaty.

Article 13. In both cases, the other signatory's embassies will be opened as soon as possible through links to its website, blog, or official email, placing its official flag in a visible manner.

For the record, this document is signed in both capitals on 12 September 2024 (Greenwich Mean Time).
